Hi
Has anyone any knowledge of Crimond Airfield in Aberdeenshire? When was it constructed?
Are any records of the farms and crofts which were displaced still available and which Estate records would apply?
Any assistance would be welcome
Thank you.

There was an article in Monday's edition of the Press & Journal about Crimond camp. You can log onto the P & J's website and view the article by entering Crimond in the search area. www.pressandjournal.co.uk

Frankin, have you considered writing a letter to the newspaper? The Buchan Observer is a Peterhead paper (known locally as "The Buchanie") It might be worthwhile contacting this paper as well, with your query. The website address is www.buchanobserver.co.uk
