I like to think I have mastered Births, Deaths and Marriages but burials is another thing.
I have a Robert Britton who seemed to live most of his adult life in Hoo Suffolk, census over the years puts him in Hoo Green, Hoo and Hoo Plomesgate, I assume these would just be the enumerators interpretation of the district. I am now trying to find his place of internment and at this stage am at a loss to know were to start. Can someone please point me in the right direction
He died in 1882 and was in Hoo in the 1881 census with his wife Charlotte a daughter Harriet and a grand son Robert Edward

Percy, I do know the village of Hoo and yes there is a Hoo Green there.
In the 1970s when we were young and first married, friends lived at Hoo Cottage, Hoo Green, Hoo, WOODBRIDGE, Suffolk!
Not many people believed it was a real address.
Woodbridge is the postal town today and Plomesgate is the ancient Hundred/District.
You can see the parish church dedicated to Saints Andrew and Eustachious at www.suffolkchurches.co.uk

Hi
My grandfathers cousin was born in Hoo in 1914. He was born at "The Bricks" Hoo. His father, my great grandfathers brother was born in 1885 in nearby Letheringham.

Hi, I am directly related to Robert Britton, being my great great grandfather. I would be very interested to hear from Alan (NZ) to see what the relationship is and what further information he may have if any. Regards John
