I dont  see any Timpsons Court in Thoms of 1877 - these are the entries that could look simliar :

 Tinkler's Court - South Great Georges Street
 Tomkin's Court - 2 1/2 New Street

there's also

  Simpson's Court - Newmarket

maybe the street name was misheard...

Thom's of 1880 lists Simpson's Court as being off Beresford Street

Hi, I know its a while since you put up that message. did you get anywhere with simpsons court address, my family lived in 5 simpsons court. they lived there for at least 25 years. did you check out the parish records on Irish Genealogy, they have a good few for that area.

My great grand mother was born in no 3 Simpsons court off Beresford st 1n 1859 Anne Brien Tyrrell.

Have you the year right

Civil index shows Teresa  Hanrahan Dublin North 1871

Irish Genealogy shows bapt St Michans born 10 Feb 1871
Teresa Emily Hanrahan dtr of Jeremiah Hanrahan and Mary Maher
Address 2 Beresford St. sponsor Catherine Maher. does this ring any bells.

Nearer to Phildudes suggestion.
