Can anyone help with a death lookup in South Australia for a Jennifer McNichol or McNicol parents being Bowman McNichol and Jean Laslett(Porter). The child was actually stillborn at birth. I'm not quite sure of the years involved but possibly after 1940. If possible also the marriage of Bowman to Jean Porter or Laslett. Jean was married to a Reginald Porter who died 1943.
thank you

Hi Geejay,
The ethics of the R. chat team do not permit discussion of living people so you would need to be certain that your couple were deceased before any information could be put on the open board.
The Personal Message system may be used however.

Sorry I wasn't aware of any restrictions on lookups, but in this case I can say that both parents are deceased regarding Jennifer McNichol/McNicol.
thank you

There is no death for a Jennifer McNICOL in the period you mention.
The marriage index for South Australia only extends to 1937.
Perhaps read the following link which includes the information

The Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages does not issue birth or death certificates for stillborn babies, but if a baby breathed, even for a moment, and died soon after, the fact of birth and death is registered.
