I am looking for ANNIE MURRAY who was born about 1869/70 in Islngton. I can't find her birth details or her marriage details.
She married Albert Trebble some time before 1896.... the 1901 census found them living in Walthamstow, she was aged 32.
In the 1911 census she was aged 41.
I can't trace her any further back than this.
Please can anyone help?
Sylvie.

Do you know her father's name and/or occupation?
There is an Annie Murray in the 1871 census aged 2, the youngest of a large family the Father of which is John Murray - a bricklayer.
Census reference is RG10/292 folio 35 pg 64.
Annie is shown as being born in Islington and this family is living at Birch Place (Elder Walk), Islington.
Could this be her?

Could this be her? Trying to work out whose sister she is as it's a different name if she is Thomas's. I can't see her being Mary's Dau. Maybe grandaughter

I think the 1881 Census entry is at fault - the 3 sisters appear to be a separate household and think Harriet should have been shown at 'Head'.

There is a marriage in 1849 but it appears too late if Edmund is b in wedlock.

Murray John St Geo Han Sq 1 29
There's a marriage, which could suitable, if they married each other, unless they possibly got married in Ireland.

I think this is John's second marriage - probably would have been a soldier serving in Ireland as Edmund was born there.
