Title: Baptism help please 1919/20 St Mark, Marylebone
Post by: RosieJ on Monday 23 February 09 13:25 GMT (UK)
Hi - my grandmother Dorothy Joan Shambrook was born illegitimately in Queen Charlotte's Lying-In Hospital on 1.7.1919, to Mabel Ann Shambrook (b. 1895, Hereford). Since my grandmother died, my mum and I have been trying to find out more about her early life and any clues to her father's identity (likely to be impossible but you never know...... ;))

I understand that the baptism records for QC come under the parish records of St Mark, Old Marylebone Road. Are such recent records accessible or are they covered by the 100 year rule? If they are available I would be eternally grateful if sks could look the baptism up for me at the LMA.  ;D

Thanks,
Rosie
