Does anyone have access to Helmsley parish records please as I’m trying to find out more detail about the person in the following death record?
1st Qtr 1841, Helmsley: Henry GARBUTT Vol. 24 page 282
I believe that Henry married Hannah Flintoft (nee Susannah Abbot, 1785 – 1857, Hawnby, East Moors, Yorkshire) on 19 May 1813 in the Helmsley area. Hannah (Susannah) was a widow when she married Henry having previously been married to Moses Flintoft for a brief period from 1809.
As there are several Henry Garbutts listed in the area, I’d be especially grateful for any information that could help pin down his age at the time of death. This may help reveal which Henry Garbutt he was.
Many thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Hello, Shake any tree in that neck of the woods and a Garbutt will fall out of it!
Did you know that in the early 19th century Helmsley was the administrative town for the area! Your Garbutt could have come from the surrounding district. I have Garbutts in my family and they were from farms etc in Bilsdale, East and West side but listed in Helmsley.
It may help if you widen your search a little.
Regards
Ray
