Title: Norris
Post by: squires on Saturday 21 February 09 07:32 GMT (UK)
Does anybody have any information on a Thomas (Norry) Norris (ca 1846) who married a Matilda McCorkell of Dundrean, Co. Donegal at Ballyarnett Presbyterian Church in 1867. At the time of his wedding he was living at Ballymagroarty. They went on to have eight surviving children, the second of which was my G. Grandmother.

I don't have any other information preceding this and would be greatful of anything that might enlighten me on who Thomas was, his family & where he originally came from.

 :)

The marriage certificate should give the name and occupation of his father. To find earlier information like when he might have been born, etc.  you'll need to search for church records (if they exist).
