Hi
Could someone please help me find Hannam Richard Shores born 1846 Alford. The details i have for him are-
1851 census living in West Street, Alford aged 5
1861 census living with parents Pinfold Lane, Alford aged 15 occupation whitesmith
1871 census living with parents The Rookery, Alford aged 24 occupation blacksmith (unemployed)
1877 marriage to Mary Ann Strickson spalding q1 7a, 489
I think Mary may have died 1889 Spalding but i am not sure.
Hannam Richard Shores just seems to have disappeared after 1871 census.
Any help would be great

Wow! Thanks alot GeoffE
I cant beleive you found him. How on earth did you do it?
I would never have thought of looking for R Harmanshores or indeed the Sherer name. Those transcribes are so off sometimes, although I cant blame them when you try to read the census information.
Do you think that Richard abandoned his children or was working elsewhere? I have check through the death records 1883-1891 but couldnt find him so i dont think he died.
Thanks again
Geoff
