I believe we knew a Roach family - too many years go I fear to recall where.

Have you looked in all the resources on this place, I see many people list their interests at the foot of their postings, perhaps it is indexed somewhere on here?

Thank you for answering me. My Roach and Fleming families were born in the 1700s in West Challow and Haynes. Md: in Torvor,Lanc., I did look in some postings. I am new on this chat board.

Please go to Bedfordshire Archives online search site - it is not quite complete but a good place to start.   Also, google Bedford Gaol to look for any rellies who were guests of Her Majesty Queen Victoria.

Bedfordshire is the best place to have ancestors from as far as online records go

If your folk were trades people there are online directories for them too: Google - Historical Directories
