William Menzies had a sister born in Scotland. Do not know what happened to her or her name. The family came from Perthshire at some time. William brought his parents over at some time.  Ida Menzies was a sister of William Henry Menzies who married in Manitoba. The family allso lived at Elsa Craig.

Do you mean Ailsa Craig by any chance?

Kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

The sister of William Menzies in Scotland was Caroline Menzies. Do not know if she had another name. Do not know who she married. This line is now unlocked .Do not know why it was locked earlier.

You might have locked it by accident - only you or a Moderator could have done it - but I have unlocked it for you now.

Where have you looked for information?  Do you have the family in censuses?  You will likely need to provide more info if the right William is to be located.

Kind regards, Arranroots  ;)
