Title: STEWART, Uchdnanetaig area of Blair Athol
Post by: oldmedic on Monday 16 February 09 15:55 GMT (UK)
I am searching for anyone that is researching the Stewart's of the Uchdnanetaig area of the Parish of Blair Athol, Perthshire.

My branch of that family began with Robert Stewart, b. 28 March 1790, who emigrated to Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.  He veru nicely had his tombstone inscribed "Son of Alexander and Christy of Blair Athol, Scotland".

(Wouldn't it be nice if all of our ancestors listed their parents, etc. on their tombstones?)

I have  lot of information on the descendants of Robert Stewart, and some information on his ancestry.  I would love to share/swap information with anyone that is researching this family.

You may contact me at:  (*)  if you prefer.

Thank you,

Lynton (Bill) Stewart
