Title: HOWLETT- Decendants

I should like to find decendants of Edwin (Upholsterer ) and Mary Ann Piper, married in Hull, Yorkshire, UK, in 1864.
They, Edwin 49 and Mary-Ann 47, emigrated to Aukland about 1891 with some of their  children :-
Edith      23
Louisa    25
Alice        17
John       15
Frank,     13
Rose       11
Herbert    09
Edwin       06
George     04
Edwin married for a second time in 1904 to Ann Brook Smith of Ponsonby Road Aukland.
Edwin died in1910 and is buried in Purewa cemetary.

Edith married William James ALPE in 1909
Frank married Alice Jane BURNS in1924
Rose married Arthur Edward DAVIES in 1904.
If anyone recognises these families I would be very pleased to hear from them and exchange details of Edwin's Ancestors in England.

I do remember an Alpe Travel in Auckland in the 1970's and there are several families of that surname listed in the White Pages phone directory in Auckland

Like mare I also remember an Alpe Travel back in the 70's.      There are a few people with that surname on the www.oldfriends.co.nz site.

I have a William Frederick PIPER in my tree born 24 Feb 1906 Capetown, South Africaand married in NZ he died 17 April 1968.

Not sure if this helps but can give more detail if it does.
