Hello, I am brand new to this site and do not really know if I am posting my message in the correct place??
I am wondering if there is SKS who can do a lookup of the 1851 Census for Willesden in Middlesex, for the Jackman family who lived at 'Mr Hall's Stables'.
George Jackman (aged about 43/44) and his wife Phoebe should be listed.
I need to know Phoebe's age and birthplace.
Many thanks for any help, and if I have posted in the wrong place, could someone help me out and tell me the correct place to post this message please?

Welcome Ally :)
Your posting is in the right place, there is absolutely no need to post requests on the main lookups board, unless you really want to for some reason, and in my experience, you are much more likely to get better results by posting on the county "Lookup Requests" boards.
I have the Middlesex index which covers the Willesden area, and I have found 3 census references for the surname JACKMAN. The Non-Metropolitan Middlesex census has only just been released, but perhaps if you post again on Middlesex Lookup Requests board, quoting the references, somebody may check them out for you.

Many thanks Rick, both for your welcome to Rootschat, and for your information, especially about Phebe. I think that must be the correct spelling, 'cos I found William & Phebe's marriage in Pallots marriage indexes, and that was how it was spelt. I thought it was incorrect, but seeing as it is spelt the same in the census, it must be 'Phebe' I think ??
If you could send the other Jackman info from the census, that would be wonderful!
Thank you for your help.
Cheers,
Ally
