Title: recent Bristol obituaries
Post by: chbeacham on Wednesday 11 February 09 00:30 GMT (UK)
I live in the United States.  How can I get obituaries from recent deaths of my relatives (I presume from Bristol newspapers)?

I have in mind:

Clifford H BEACHAM, died October 5, 2002, lived at 8 Acramans Rd., Southville, Bristol,
his older sisters Vera Maud BEACHAM died Bristol age 76 in August 1997 &
Glenis Annie BEACHAM died  in Bristol age 80 in ~Sep 2001.

Alan Christopher BATES, died November 5, 2002, Bristol
his father Leonard Winston BATES, died Bristol January 1986
his mother Gwendoline Elizabeth Timbury BATES, died Bristol ~September 2003.

William Henry WEBER, died in Bristol ~September 2001, age 77 and his brother
Reginald Alfred WEBER, died in Bristol ~June 2002, age 81

Thank you

Hi Charles

You may be able to obtain copies direct from the local newspaper. Try contacting them through their web site www.thisisbristol.co.uk.

Alternatively , the Central library may hold copies of the papers, I know they have the old ones on microfilm. Try emailing them via www.bristol.gov.uk and search for central library.

Hope this helps
