Hi parishmouse,

I have a potential family member who married a William H Rickhuss in Walsall, J-S 1928, 6b 1558.  The Betsy/Betsey Smith who married Mr Rickhuss may or may not be the daughter of a daughter of my great-grandmother during her first marriage (and only legal one).  If Betsy/Betsey Smith is the grandaughter of Hannah Hall Morgan Paddison nee Harper, then she was the daughter of Betsy/Betsey Margaret Hall born in Walsall (Woods) in 1880 who married a William Smith in 1900.  Their daughter, Betsy/Betsey Smith, was born in early 1901 (just before the 1901 census).

I hope that this makes sense and is of some help in your search for people named Rickhuss.
