Just thought I'd let people thinking of talking a years subscription to Ancestry.com.au that there is a "New Idea" 50% special until 8/2/009.

I am a previous Ancestry member and have subscribed to this, I did it last weekend without any problems. I think that means is that for the second year the price will go back to normal but you can then cancel if you wish.

I did too Alan - cancelled the old and started the new. Works fine.

had to change my user name and email addy but just signed up.
it only cost 60 odd dollars last year due to it been a new site so its working out very cheap
