I am trying to find the marriage of James Parsons and his wife Mary. On the 1841 census he is 40 and his wife 37. The eldest son is 16 so I guess they married around 1825. I have looked online records and couldnt find them, any ideas? thanks mbee

Hi
Further to Suffolk*sue's post there is a Mary Ann Hawton b 1804 Stoke Climsland.
IGI submitted
Mary Ann Hawton d/o John Hawton and Thomasine Parsons
born: 3 JUN 1804, Stoke Climsland
In the 1851 census James Parsons is living in Stoke Climsland with his children. "Next Door" is John Hawton, 52 b SC with wife, Susanna and child. John seems to be Mary Ann's brother.
IGI submitted
John Hawton s/o John Hawton and Thomasine Parsons
born: 18 MAR 1799, Stoke Climsland

This marriage looks like confirmation of the Hauton surname;
James and Mary Parsons had a daughter named Thomasine bc 1833
Thomaszine Hauton Parsons = to either Richard Clarke or George Rowe
June q 1874, Launceston.
In 1881 she is with Richard Clarke (blind) and her 2 children. Thomasine H Clarke , 41 ( :-\) b Stoke Climsland.
they are all still together in 1891.
