The record for William John Reilly in the 1911 census in Lower Urney has his wife as MARGARET .His first daughter was Bridget.
This marriage would tie in with names and approx date :
10th July 1894 William John Reilly to Margaret McCafferty at Belfast Roman Catholic Church Belfast Urban 6 Civil District Belfast County Antrim

Hi Otto
I am really grateful for that information , things are looking up , the pieces look like they are fitting together ,
This has helped me enormously
I am still trawling to try and identify both george mcbride,s birthdate and bridget reilly's dates of birth who i belive was born around 1895 i know she died in july 1978.
Everytime i type this into search engines i get zero , but will still persevere
Could you assist with any of this information
Wish to say thank you again ,

Is there any info on bridget reilly marriage to george mcbride?
Trying to find info on george, what his parents were called.
Finding it difficult to gain this info every search keeps to come back with a no result.
pressuming his age is the similar age to bridget, i have searched for his birth but got nothing.
Then again he may be alot younger or older.
Marriage cert for them both i think will hopefully gather more info to george.

Is there a free census search for 1901....1891....1881 etc that will cover northen ireland,Belfast/Antrim/Down?
-
Census records for Northern Ireland were mostly destroyed in a fire in Dublin, or were destroyed by the Irish government, so the first full census available is 1901, but that is not online yet. The 1911 census has just come on line in December 2008, and is fully searchable at : http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/

Hi,
i did hear something about the fire.
i have tried the pilot site but had no luck on there.
If i could find out the parish names and contact the church to where birth/marriage etc was taken place would they be able to tell me anything?
Only way of contacting them at the moment is by leter or phone/email if they have one.
Would i be able to obtain the records or any infomation via this method or would i have to go in person?
regards
