I have a great great grandfather who, in the Peterhead census 1881 age 50, Pilot, says he was born Buckie Banffshire, Alexander Geddes born? married Helen Bushby 6th Oct 1882. They had a son Alexander Geddes b? maybe Peterhead, he married JANE BUCHAN from St.Combs. ANY INFO would be useful

 he married jane geddes,whose parents were john geddes and jane shaw of
 rathven hope this is of some interest to you.

Do you know the birth of Jane, i have a Jane Geddes 1825 who married a John Thomson and a Janet Geddes 1844 who married John Christie, am not sure if this info is correct, it's been a while since i did any family history, but always happy to reply

Hi  I have a date of birth for jane,it is 31 Mar 1829 so I think it is a different person
