If anyone  has any links or info on Jonathan Wheeldon of Alfreton - born c1810 (or his father, also named Jonathan but occasionally spelled Johnathan Whieldon! brn c1782) I would be very interested.

Jonathan senior married Grace Bagshaw in Alfreton and as far as I can make out, they had at least 2 children, one being aforementioned Jonathan, the other Edwin.

Jonathon Wheeldon & Grace Bagshaw 23rd March 1807

Jonathon Wheeldon, p. Bolsover, & Esther Wright 2nd May 1831

I do not have the baptisms sorry.

There is a chance that Jonathan Wheeldon Snr was my ancestors (Michael's) brother and that they were both born in Sheen, Staffordshire.

I am descended from the Wheeldons out of Derbyshire.
Possibly Muggington, Derbyshire.
Moved to Macclesfield then Stockport.
