I am looking for some information on the baptism and marriage of Thomas Wickins.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could find a baptism for Thomas Wickins around 1660-1690. I believe he was of Roade Parish, but Ashton near Roade is also a possibility.
I am also looking for the marriage of Thomas Wickins, probably occurring around 1680-1714. I believe this marriage occurred in Roade or Ashton near Roade as well.
Since I am unsure of the exact dates his baptism and marriage occurred on, the years I have provided are only guesses on my part. The only concrete evidence I have concerning Thomas is the baptism of his children (the first being in 1715) in Ashton near Roade. The mother of each of his children is listed as Ann(e).
The Wickins surname is often misspelled as Wiggins, Wicken(s), Wickin, and Wickings. So any of these misspellings of Wickins that you see may be my Thomas.
Thank you so much in advance for your help! :)

Sandy,
Thanks for your reply! I use Norman's website frequently, as it is quite wonderful and informative. Unfortunately, it doesn't have any concrete information concerning the baptism or marriage of Thomas.

Hi Rachel
I am sure Alan will list it if it is on his indexes, yet I can not see a marriage
for Thomas in Northamptonshire so not sure where it could have been.

Hi Rachel
There would be so many places he could have come over the border from.
Just met my friend Michelle for lunch and she gave me the new cd rom of
Northamptonshire Baptisms for 1751 she ordered Wednesday for me
(I can't do Paypal) Christmas Pressie from Hubby. :)
Guess what I will be looking at for quite awhile. ;D ;D ;D
If you get any more leads just shout.

I have edited my original post:
The more I think about it, I believe that Thomas may be older than I first anticipated. If anyone has access to Northamptonshire marriage records pre-1700 I would greatly appreciate a look for Thomas Wickins and his bride there. I think he could possibly have married as early as 1680 (again, this is just a rough guess).
Thank you in advance!! :)
