Title: Carpenters of Hawkley

Have this family from NZ back to Clapham SW London and then to further to Scotland Farm, Hawkley in 1841 census. Great x2 Grand parents William CARPENTER and Ann nee VOKES m 1814 at Hawkley. Curious about name Hori posted.

Hi.  My partner's great great great grandfather was George Carpenter (m. to Ann Vokes).   They lived at Scotland Farm.   How are you related to them?   

We are planning to go to that area at some in the near future and will try to find Scotland Farm then.   In the meantime, visit www.scotlandfarm.com.   We have just found this website and think it is probably the place in question.
