Title: dodwell+Mulligan 1930 + New York City
Post by: Anne09 on Sunday 18 January 09 17:50 GMT (UK)
I am trying to find out what happened to Francis (Frank) Dodwell b1891 in Cheshire England.
He moved to America in 1910 & married Mary Mulligan b1887 in Roscommon, Ireland.
In 1930 they were living at St. Nicholas ............  West 178th St. New York City
I think, the writing on the census isn't very clear.
Mary's brother Dominick was living with them & they had 2 daughters Alice 16 & Adelaide 15.
I believe Alice married a Booth & they had a son Barclay b c1941. Adelaide married a Toner & they may have had 2 daughters in the 1940s.
Maybe someone over there are looking for their English ancestors.
Kindest Regards,
Anne09

I think the 1930 Census address was 598 West 178th Street.  Other households below them on the same page were on St. Nicholas Avenue.
