I’m looking for any family history relating to the GRANT family who lived in Denbury area of Devon. Particularly interested in Robert Grant b. Est 1811. Robert was married to Jane and had several children.
Any information welcome.

couldnt immediately see Robt in 1841 in the Newton Abbott (Denbury's RD) district, but here they are in 1851 - recently married perhaps based on childs age ?

do you want them followed thru later census ?
-
must be him then, in the same area - image is dreadful, dunno how they transcribed it !
(ages were rounded down to next lower multiple of 5 years for adults)

Robert Grant 25 MS (Male Servant) - looks like in service to a Farmer ?

Mary Ann Bridgers 20
Thomas Goodner 25

cant see a marriage in FreeBMD in the Totnes or Newton Abbot Districts - nor indeed in Devon, so you might have to get the dau's Birth Cert to ascertain Janes maiden name ...

1841 census candidates for Jane in Staverton (might not have been born there, or indeed your Jane might have left the place by 1841)
Jane Marey c1826
Jane Stephens c1828
Jane Tinkham c1826

wonderful ! In the 1871 census, Jane states her PoB as Tiverton !

Hi there
Thanks for the help. Managed to find the family in later census records and linked it to my current living grandfather so that's good.
If I wanted to find out Roberts parents how would I do that? Would I need to get their marriage cert to see the parents??? I pretty new to this so apologies for daft questions.

Marriage Cert always good as it should show Fathers names ... as they were both born after 1837 (start of Civil Regn), you will need to post a query to have the relevant Parish Registers searched for baptisms ....
