www.thecore.com/seanruad is a fantastic site for finding details of townlands and parishes in Ireland (be sure to change default setting from exact match to search for part of a word) but I can't see anything listed there.
What is the source for 'Bohermore' and what sort of place name do you think it is if not a townland or parish?

If my memory is correct, Bohermore is an area of Galway city, i think it is on the east of Galway. bodger

[Edit: oops, didn't realise the original post was from 2009]
Bohermore is a residential street in Galway city. It is (or at least was in 1850) in a townland called "Townparks"
Here it is on a map:

Here's some details about Townparks from galway library placenames database (usually an excellent resource, but doesn't seem to know much about bohermore)

In the census, Galway city isn't split into townlands, and Bohermore is in "Galway north urban"
