Thanks again Kris :) Im slowly starting to get a clearer picture of the family.Of not much importance to me but maybe to someone else the name of the boarder should read Harry Shore.Cheers. ;)gereon.

Hi gereon,
You are welcome.
It is not very clear. Shore is probably what is meant but what I am looking at looks like an o or an a. Doesn't look at all like an r. Second look as big as I can get it I would hbe inclined to say a - the loop comes from the bottom and the circle is straighter on that side than the other.
Actually with a bit of a shove, I could probably give the last letter r, which would then read SHOAR. He is 22 - sorry just noticed I have omitted it.........Kris :)

Hi!
Thirza HARRIS was baptised on 30 Dec 1827 at Buckerell, the first child and eldest daughter if Edward WILLEY and Tryphena CARNELL (who are my great great great grandparents).
Thirza married Samuel HARRIS on 19 Jul 1855 at the parish church of St Andrew, Holborn, London.
Family rumour has it that the Willeys lost their money in a bank crash and had to move to London because of this. Certainly they all came between 1841 and 1851.
I have more info on this family if you are interested.
