I'm looking for info on a Pub called Trooper Inn Lyneham. the address of Henry Freegard born 1857 & family on 1901 Census. Also I'm trying to find details on Herbert Freegard B abt 1886 Calne He joined the Australian Army 1916 and stayed in Australia after being discharged.

Margaret Freegard Melville St - Home Duties
1936 Newcastle, they are living at 75 Union St (same occupation)
There is also a Doris Freegard at 15 Church St - Home Duties

Have you seen the Lyneham Village site? I see your family are listed in 2 censuses at the Hotel.

Don't know how much you have from Australia. Herbert's marriage in 1916, Margarets death in 1940 and Herberts death in 1953 are listed.

Thank you again. The Lyneham village site was very helpful in finding more Freegard's. I have found Herbert's Army records too.

I think the trooper was in bradenstoke next to lyneham, my mum lived there i will as her and ask if she knows the freegurds. chris
