I am trying to trace William Gillison & family in the 1861 census and not having any luck, can anyone out there help? The family were William (1827 - 1862) wife Elizabeth (1826-1877) Sons (John 1849, Richard 1850, William 1855, James 1861, & Daughters ( Mary 1852, Elizabeth 1857, Ellen 1858. I have the family in the 1851 Census in Liverpool, and Elizabeth and some of the children in the 1871 Census', Elizabeth is in the Brownlow Hill Workhouse, William the father died there in May 1862 of Typhus, I was wandering if they all finished up in the workhouse and all the records of that place have not been published yet, I hope this makes sense and someone has some clues?
Cheers

Hi Bluie,
The Bronwlow Workhouse is on the census RG9/2682 folios 27 to 83. The unfortunate thing is that there are just initials for the majority. :'(
