Can anyone tell me if they know the history of;
PETTISTREE LODGE THE STREET WOODBRIDGE
SUFFOLK IP 13 UK
In 1954 I believe the new owners were Lord & Lady Entwistle.

If you do not get a reply, I can PM you the details for the Woodbridge Local History Recorder Daphne who will probably be able to help further.

this is a good site:
http://www.pettistree.suffolk.gov.uk/charities.html
it also contains a link to the recorder. found a bit:
The medieval benches, pulpit and lectern were replaced by Mrs Brook of Pettistree Lodge in the nineteenth century (church).

Joan is the Local History Recorder for Pettistree, was not sure if The Lodge was in Pettistree or in Woodbridge from the initial enquiry.
I guess that Woodbridge is only there as the Postal Town.
