Hi mel,
A copy of the mariage certificate should show the name and occupation of the two fathers; which will help you to find the families on 1901 census.
Marriage: (from FreeBMD)
Thomas H Watson MarQ 1915 Malton 9d 670 (bride: Mary J Stockill)
Copies can be ordered online at www.gro.gov.uk and cost £7 (if in the UK); usually take 7-10 days to arrive.
William could have been the father/brother/uncle/etc. of Thomas.
