Title: Brigid Maher
Post by: caroleg on Friday 19 December 08 12:43 GMT (UK)
Hi there, I wonder if anyone could possibly help me - Brigid was born at the turn of the century, we think in the Cork area and the family moved to Liverpool where she married an Alfred Boyce in March 1928. Unfortunately that is the only information I have.  Again I apologise for the lack of information.

I am applying for the marriage certificate but wonder if anyone knows anything more.

Look forward to hearing from you

Carole

Hi Carole,

Only read your message today.  Do you know that the Irish census for 1911 is now online

I looked up  Bridget ( note spelling different to yours)   Maher and four come up.

One which could be your Bridget - age 6 Morirarty's Lane

If you go into www.nationalarchives.ie/census key in surname and christian and to into Cork county.

Select any of the Bridget's listed and all the people in household will be listed.

Then click on household Form A and you can actually see the Census form completed by Head of the Household.

It lists Michael age40
