Help!
Can someone help me please?
I keep getting emails from myself trying to sell me various products etc
all are getting picked up by my spam filter but its getting a bit boring keep having to delete them all, and of course I am concerned that others are getting them.

Unfortunately you have only two choices: stop using the Internet or live with it.
This situation occurs because the tools which the people who generate spam use trawl around the Internet picking up e-mail addresses. If there were a way of stopping them then the big ISPs etc would have done so already.
Anyone who uses the Internet needs to use robust spam filtering (as you are) and realise that they need to treat any unsolicited e-mails with caution.

Hi
I used to have a problem with unwanted e mails but not from myslf which made it easier to block them. I'm not sure what you can do about that. When they used to come in from other domains I didn't open them and then applied message rules from the tool menu. I did not allow them to be downloaded from the server and requested they be deleted from the server. They have now stopped.

I also keep getting emails from myself as well but just delete them as they are unwanted most of them stay on the server but some still end up in my in box.
Yes they are a pest but i don't worry about them any more

A Big thank you for all the replies.
I have now done what Evie suggested and blocked the sender useing message blocking, so I will now just wait and see if they stop.
Thanks again and a merry xmas and happy new year to every one

If you do that, remember that you have effectively blocked your own email address, so if you ever need to send yourself a test email for test purposes, it will be rejected :)
