Compliments of the season to all Rootschatters!! :D
Hi there,
I would like to request a look up for Portsmouth to see if I can trace the death date and burial of one Tamar Page Harris Finey Page. I know that looks complicated but she married twice - one Finey and one Page. FreeBMD has her death registered in the March Qtr of 1908 aged 77 but I have no idea of the actual dates or where she was interred. Also interested to know of the death and burial dates of her second husband Samuel Lane Page who was registered dead in the March Qtr of 1884.
Also if there is any chance I'd love to know if the Portsmouth/Emsworth/Havant area has any grave details for any Finey folk - like MI's or dates or where, etc.
Thanks so much

Hi Infobunny
Hampshire Telegraph & Sussex Chronicle has Mr Solomon Finey, Master Mariner d. 24 Sept 1870 at Emsworth, late of Fleet St, Southsea, aged 51.
Also Frederick Finey youngest son of the late Charles Finey, d. 6 Jul 1899 at East Leigh, Havant, aged 47 years.

Hi Minn,
Oooo...thanks so much for doing that for me!!! :D :D Solomon was Tamar's husband (number 1) and my gggf. So nice to have another little piece of information about him.
I'm grateful for the info on Frederick Finey. I haven't managed to get a connection to this collection of Finey's even though I'm sure we must all be connected somewhere/somehow. Will keep trying.
Minn, I don't know where you live but do you know if there are any other repositories of information that may have burial or MI info for Hampshire? Especially Portsmouth, Southsea, Southhampton areas. Or any BMD info that I could ask for a look up of?
Thanking you so very much for your time and effort :-*
Cheers

Hello Infobunny,
The website at Knightroots has a large amount of Hampshire information on line including many transcribed church records.
