Hi all,
My Great Grandmother died in Andover 1943. The death cert states that she died at Junction Road. The address she lived was South Tidworth. Andover Road . I would very much like to know where she would have been buried, if anyone can say where, I'd much appreciate any help.. Dolly

Hi Lorraine, It was so kind of you to look this up for me , but I am afraid it is the wrong Catherine Elizabeth Brash you have found . My Catherine Elizabeth Brash died in 1943 at 445 Junction Road Andover.. age 87...
She actually lived in Sth Tidworth, but the address where she died in Andover was possibly a relatives' or even a nursing home .. The informant of the death is not known to me.. Perhaps I should have given you these details when you first offered the look up ,so I hope I did not cause you much of a waste of time.. I am however, rather intrigued by this new Catherine Elizabeth that you have found., so I shall look into this one too.
I am ever grateful tho' and thank you so much. Regards Dolly.

Thank's for all that Lorraine... I have been on the BMD's and can find no more deaths of a Catherine Elizabeth Brash, there is just the one that I have the death cert for, so I was wondering if indeed it is one and the same person. The one you gave me had died 2 Jan buried 6? Jan 1944, age 65, mine on the cert states that death was 29th Dec 1943, so I guess it was possible that the burial was held over due to the New Year holiday, and maybe someone made an error with her age, which in actual fact was 87, as she born 23 Mar 1856 in Norfolk... Can I please ask if you have seen this St Marys Church, and if it a huge place or not. I cannot imagine that there would be a headstone as I think if this person who informed of the death was some sort of staff, then it would have been a quiet affair, which is a great shame as it so happens she actually had a son and grandchildren here in the north east , so it turns out I had a great Grandma , and worse my Mother had a Grandma that we never knew of. I also found a newspaper obituary of the death and am sure it states that she was indeed buried... Thank you so much for the help and info . Dolly.
