I have Agnes McPherson, born c1790 married to Murdoch McKenzie. Thats all I know as yet! The McKenzies are my main line.

James McPherson born 1849 to James McPherson and Agnes Wallace.  He was married to Margaret Currie in 1872 in Glasgow.  Any chance you have him in your tree!

i have 3 Mcphersons in my tree
icluding 1 offshoot ,will look into it
and see if any wallaces are there
um u related to william wallace?

As a Macpherson I've a few names in my lot. Also Mcpherson and McFerson. A couple of Mcphees and some Wallaces. Your James Macpherson doesn't match with any that I have.  :) Can you give me some idea of dates? / location. My crwod are mostly Paisely, Renfrewshire.

My James McPherson and Agnes Wallace were married in Paisley supposedly 7 June 1841, I say supposedly because the date changes about as much as the place of birth on census records.  According to death certificates James' parents were John McPherson and Agnes Lowrie; Agnes' parents were Gavin Wallace and Agnes Muir.  First 4 children were born Paisley, John 1842; Susan 1845; James 1849 (my great grand father) and William 1851.

To Davemac61 - now being related to THE William Wallace would be something wouldn't it?
