Title: Christening & School Records?
Post by: Sgt_Tollers on Saturday 13 December 08 17:20 GMT (UK)
Ho ho ho  :)

Can anyone tell me where the christening and school records are held for such places as St. Silas Church, St. Andrew's Church, St. John's Church Newington, Lincoln Street School and Craven Street School? Would these be held at Beverley or elsewhere?

Thanking you all in advance.

Best wishes,
Sgt Tollers

Hi
The parish registers for the churches are at Beverley, but I'm not sure about school records

Hull history centre appear to have some school records for Lincoln street, not sure exactly what they include but a search of there site indicates log books and admin registers over a wide period of time - could this be the type of info your after?
Searches don't throw up many hits for Craven street though.

Beverley treasure house definately have some of the parish registers your after, was only looking at St Andrews records earlier this week.
