Title: WOOD family, Heybridge, Maldon

Trying to compile a book on my WOOD family from Heybridge, Maldon, Essex.
Any help at all would be so welcome.
Is there anyone who could possibly help me with some useful history about the town please.

Try a search , books on Maldon Essex, there is a lot on the net
