Hello
Can anybody help me find any information on my great-grandfather. I have a copy of his marriage certificate and it states that he was a 3rd air mechanic in the RAF, no 101346. The marriage certificate is dated 24th June 1918, and his name was Thomas Percival White.
I did a search of the National Archives website and couldn't find anything :(
Can anyone help???
Thanks :) :) :)

If he did not serve abroad he would not be entitled to WW1 medals, so there will not be a medal card for him, and so nothing available online. You will have to wait to see if Ancestry publish his WW1 Service Records when they get to the Ws.
If he was still serving after 1920 you will have to apply to the MOD.

- describes what RAF records exist.
It appears that his records will probably be in AIR 79 at the NA, unless he went on to serve in WWII, in which case the RAF will still have them.
