Title: PYE - NORWICH

Am trying to find my partner's gr.grandfather William Pye on 1871 census - any help would be appreciated as he seems to have disappeared.  He was born c.1859 in Norwich, married in 1881 to Juliana Raby and is shown on the 1881 census living at Clifton Street, Heigham, Norwich with his wife; 1891 living at 138 Bull close Road, Norwich with wife and children, Willia, Rosetta, Florence & Elizabeth and 1901 living at 88 SilverStreet, Norwich with wife and children, Rosetta, florence, William Elizabeth, Ernest, Albert & Arthur (grandfather).

Only thing that comes close is William Pye aged 14, b norwich and in 1881 living in Sprowston, Catton , Norfolk. RG10/1806 F 14 Pg 19...

It may be an idea to obtain his marriage certificate to find out who his father was, that would help in the search.

I too have Pye's in my family, all born Norwich, but cannot at this time tie in yours to mine, maybe the father may help.
