				 Anyone have any info on 
 John Jackson born 1822 Spotland Rochdale, he married Betty Eastwood 3rd March  1843.
 John remarried (Betty died july quarter 1867,) and John married Jane Morland oct quarter 1867.
 the children of John and Betty were
 Alice b1844
 Hannah b1846 married John Hoyle
 Esther Anna b1848
 James b1850
 Abraham b1852/3
 Mary b1856.
 Richard b1858
 there are so many John jacksons in Rochdale, finding the correct one before 1837
 is proving hard. anyone with any idea's or info. Thanks tessone

				Do you have a marriage cert for either of John's weddings?  If not, I would certainly recommend getting one, as this will at least give you his father's name and occupation.  (There may also be family members as witnesses.)  With that information, it might be possible to find the family on the 1841 census or spot the right birth in the parish register... and as you say, with a name like John Jackson, you need all the help you can get!
