Title: Paris Street
Post by: bindymac on Saturday 05 February 05 11:25 GMT (UK)
Can anyone give me any information on Paris Street Manchester. This is listed on my gg grandmothers birth certificate and can find no information regarding. Would appreciate any help- it may help me with some more avenues to follow.

Many thanks  :) :)

Hi bindymac

have you any idea of the area apart from manchester?

I have found a Paris Ave in Orsall, Salford I do not know how old it is. Here is a multimap link http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=53.4701&lon=-2.28&scale=5000&icon=x

Also found Parisian Way in Moss Side, I am not sure even if it is still there, Moss Side has seen major rebuilding work over the last few years (no multimap link)

Sorry I cannot be more helpful

Regards
Ken

I can't find a Paris St on my 1900 Manchester/Salford map. (Though it could be too small to show or in an outlying suburb)
