Title: David Limmond Lambie
Post by: WLambie on Friday 21 November 08 19:40 GMT (UK)
I noticed a message from ALEXANDERmclaren on David Limmond Lambie and his father John Lambie back in 3 April 05.  I'd like to get in touch with Alexander as John and Margaret Lambie were my GGG-Grandparents and I would like to share information.

Hi

If you turn up the message and then click on the little green scroll on the left hand side - you can send him a personal message (like an email) about your shared interest

Good luck

Hi Willie

I think you need to have posted at least 3 times before you can use the Private Message service (to prevent abuse by spammers etc.). So, come back and say Hi to bring you up to 3, and then you can PM ALEXANDERmclaren  :)

Hi Willie, Just noticed your message re David Limmond Lambie.  My ancestors are Archibald Hamilton & Grizel McKechan whose son Robert married a Frew and their daughter married a Lambie.    Reason I am writing is that Archibald and Grizel's daughter Mary was Mary Limmond Hamilton, she married a Robert Blair.
Do you know where the name Limmond came from?, seems to be a connection to the Hamiltons.   We are still looking for Archibald & Grizel.
Thanks, Annie
