Title: A.G. Photographers
Post by: Higgins41 on Tuesday 18 November 08 23:42 GMT (UK)
Hi Everyone,

Can anyone tell me what A.G. Photographers studios/francises there are near Tanfield, Stanley, County Durham, England. As I have a photo with this photographers name on.

The people who she worked for (who had the photograph taken) were from Tanfield, Stanley, County Durham.

I am trying to find out where it was took, I believe it was took just before or after Queen Victoria died.

Thanks

Regards,

Ryan

Hi Ryan, you could try searching on the Historical Directories website for relevant trade directory information
http://www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/

There is lots of information on photographers and their studios etc on

Scan the photo and post it on the Photo Restoration board. If it needs restoring, be sure to scan it at 300 dpi or more, and post with no compression.

Cheers,

Ryan -- Amanda Garraway Roberts responding here. A few years ago we were in touch with each other re: Richardson/Tatters of Whitehaven. I don't recall if I ever set you a description of the Tatters miners from the 1841 colliery listings. I just "found" this forum again and found your messages in my file.

my email is dampnr(at)golden.net
