.....and would be willing to photograph a grave stone for me, please?
I took a photo of it several years ago, but can't read it properly, and now I find myself with my Lovetts in a twist.

Hi, the only East Allington I can find is in Devon not Lincolnshire.
Do you have the name correct or is there one in Lincolnshire?

I guess it must be - in the 1841 census, there was East and West Allington.
If you search for Allington at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/IndexMapPage2.aspx the East and West parts are marked on the 1892 map.

Yeah, that's the one!! Just north west of Grantham. Look forward to hearing from anyone who could check out the grave stone for me.

just seen this message, I live next door to the old graveyard. The church was knocked down years agon but the graveyard is still there

In Grantham library East Allington parish records Reel 882 Sect.1/8 1813-1940 There is only one Lovatt(as spelt on film)which was on page 40.
