Thanks Celia,
it puts some of the more recent stones to shame.
I think the detailed work that went into them is fantastic.

Hi Blue Moon,
Good photos - looks like there are 3 of us taking photos of gravestones now - we should have the lot covered soon (just a joke).

But please could I ask you to clarify where they are - I recognise many are in Crewe Cemetery but isn't the Chesters grave on 22 Nov at Whitehouse Lane, and the tall figure on 22 Nov at 15:28 looks like Wistaston.

Keep up the good work.

Peter

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your kind comments.

You will be correct on the places that the photos were taken, when I originally took them I had no intention to post them on here they were just something that interested me,
a couple like the one of James Green the police man,I wanted to see if I could find out more about the circumstances of his death, and like the Chester's one it was the carving of the stone that was of interest to me,and a few were for research.
It was only when I saw some of the wonderful photos people had posted on here that I thought they may be of interest to someone else, I could have guested where I'd taken each photo  but knowing me I'd be miles out,and mislead people completely.
I will learn by my mistake and log them next time...lol

Thanks once again.
