hi suzard and margaret w, you are both right , thomas was born in bishop auckland and his wife was maria. his birth year is out alittle. i have looked on the bmd and it seems they both died in the same year. 1876. i have 1841 census when he lived with his parents in durham but not the 1851/1861 in durham. i was wondering if it was him as he went missing in the durham county. i want to thankyou both for the help and quick response to my post. i kindly appreciate your time and help. thankyou. :)

Hi Linda,
The 1871 address is Newcomen Terrace, East Coatham, Kirkleatham (now part of Redcar)
Would you still like the 1861 & 1851 census for the family?
