hi every one
i am requiering some help with my great grandfather my mum has found a letter sent to her grand mother and it has some info on it that i am trying to find out and as i can't get the service records for my grandfather untill early next year i was wondering if some one with more millitery knowledge than me could help me out
my g grandfather Benjamin John Roberts was at some point around the 6th of july 1917 sent to the 3rd canadian casualty clearing station with gun shot wounds to the chest, face, thigh and a break in his right arm i have been trying to find out where abouts the station was situated and where abouts in france my g grandfather was fighting i have located his medal card and found that he was in the Kings royal rifle corps serv no : 23923 and then he moved to the Royal army medical corp serv no: 143445 so if anyone out there can shed some ray of light on where he was i would be most greatfull
thank you for your time
hope everyone is well
