Have you looked in the IGI ? There's 3 Henry Finnis born in Kent 1768 - 1773.
-
Thanks but they are not him. My info comes from Kent Family History Society. In particular, it's his ancestors I seek.

Hi finn1941
Welcome to RootsChat :)
There's nothing for Henry FINNIS in Ringwould, in fact there's nothing in Births, Marriages or Burials for any Finnis in Ringwould, or at least up to 1812.

Hi Betty
There's an East Langdon burial on 23 Dec 1851 - Henry Finnis of Ringwould aged 83 years.

Although 'of this parish' only means he was living there at the time of his marriage, he could well have been born in East Langdon, as there are a number of FINNIS families having children baptised there.
Unfortunately the records I have start from 1769!

Hi Welsh Lady
The link you supplied is fine but it deals with descendants of Henry, not him nor his ancestors.

You are quite right Welsh Lady; I have since scrolled further down and there is potentially some good info there. Many thanks for your pointer.
