Hi Everyone I would just like to say a big thank you to all of you who helped me to find out what happened to my naughty gr gr gr gr grandfather Jeremiah Kerley so we can say that this message is at an end!! :-* :-*
I wonder if any one knows what happened to Jeremiah Kerley who married 23 Jan 1835 Bishopstone Wilts to Harriet Fort or Kellow
They had 2 children George born 1834 Bishopstone Wilts
Ann born 9 nov 1835 Cranborne she died 15 nov 1835
I have a feeling that Harriet may have died at the birth too.
Because they both Jeremiah and Harriet seemed to disappear from Cranborne.
Leaving their son George living with his Aunt Keziah Hawkins and her husband James Hawkins.
If any one can solve this mystery it would be great.
Kind regards Christine

Jeremiah Kerley who married 23 Jan 1835 Bishopstone Wilts to Harriet Fort or Kellow
The IGI has 2 entries for the same couple - both extracted records but different dates
Given that George was b 1834 - the 1833 marriage seems the likeliest
JEREMIAH KERLEY Spouse: HARRIET FORT
Marriage: 14 OCT 1833 Bishopstone By Salisbury Wiltshire,
JEREMIAH KERLEY Spouse: HARRIETTE FORT Family
Marriage: 23 JAN 1835 Bishopstone By Salisbury Wiltshire
